Meet Robin Reneau, also known as Rob The Blonde Mechanic, a trailblazer in the automotive service industry dedicated to empowering others with her knowledge and expertise.

Robin’s journey began nearly two decades ago when, as a single mother facing unreliable transportation, she decided to take control of her future. Her determination to break free from the cycle of car troubles led her to master the complexities of automotive mechanics, equipping herself with the skills to navigate car maintenance and repair.

In 2020, Robin launched Georgia Auto Solutions, a mobile diagnostic and repair service that quickly gained recognition for its reliability and efficiency. The following year, she expanded by opening her brick-and-mortar shop in Conyers, GA, making history as the first Black woman mechanic to own a shop in Georgia.

Robin's excellence has earned her several accolades, including Best Automotive Repair Shop in Rockdale and Newton County and the Unsung Hero Award. She’s also a pillar of her community, using her platform for volunteer work and partnerships. Her business philosophy is shaped by her experiences, always putting people first and ensuring every customer feels valued and empowered.

In late 2024, Robin faced a heartbreaking challenge when her mother, a key figure in the business, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She made the difficult decision to close the shop temporarily to be by her mother’s side, while continuing to serve clients through mobile repairs and commercial services. Now, Robin has returned with renewed strength, continuing to deliver the stellar service that has made her a respected leader in the industry.
